Face Painting Competition

Tech Fest provides students with a rare opportunity to discover innovative technology-related ideas and connect them with teaching practice. The conference hosts workshops and lectures focused on education.

At this event, attendees can take part in lectures, exciting competitions and cool games like Robowars. Additionally, there will be food and entertainment provided throughout the event as well as student art exhibitions and performances by different groups. It is highly recommended for anyone interested in technology who seeks to expand their knowledge while meeting like-minded individuals from around the world.

Programming Contest

Programming contests offer students an excellent way to demonstrate their technical knowledge. This year’s event featured various competitions – poster presentation and various coding challenges were just two – designed to challenge creativity while encouraging teamwork among its participants.

This program also featured various exhibitions. These included NEXTAGE, an all-in-one dual arm robot that coexists well with humans; Nadine, a social robot capable of conversing and altering moods; and Daedalus, an exoskeleton enabling humans to fly. Each exhibition strives to bridge the technological chasm between technology avant garde and everyday Indians.

Robo Games

At this event, students will design and construct robots to compete in an engineering challenge game-based competition against other teams. Along the way they will gain hands-on experience using advanced sensor technologies, high-tech motor control, computer programming languages and computer programming. This competition is open to pre-college students as an invaluable way to prepare them for careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.

At this event, there will be STEM competitions such as cryptic hunt, engineering in a box, mysteries of science, mathematical madness and capture the flag. Furthermore, there will be a drone race, web designing contest, coding puzzles as well as gaming challenges!

The Student Games Showcase provides students an opportunity to showcase the hard work they’ve put in throughout the semester. It will feature games developed by second and third year students as well as elective course gamers; industry speakers; food; and prizes will be given out to winners of each game developed during this free event for all attendees.

Social Awareness Event

Tech Fest offers students an opportunity to gain training on student software, download free apps and enjoy pizza. In addition, Campus Day will take place and is open to faculty, students and staff; representatives from various department will be on hand to answer questions or offer assistance as needed.

At the event, competitions were also designed to build teamwork and STEM skills. Teams collaborated together in events like Engineering in a Box, Mysteries of Science, Math Madness and Capture the Flag; teams with winners received a trophy for their school. Other competitions encouraged students to think creatively when solving real world problems using technology such as HackAttack hackathon where students from around the country join together in solving them using tech. It took place at the end of festival weekend for anyone who could attend.

Special Exhibition

Not only can students participate in technical events like coding marathons and quizzes at student tech fest, but many also engage in social awareness campaigns on various topics ranging from cyber security and environmental concerns to gaming sessions, live performances and interactive sessions.

Tech Fest mostly focused on further expanding its outreach efforts by gathering local technology leaders for a career fair and offering workshops and networking opportunities for students. Its organizers are proud of what this event means for local tech companies and students.
